I just replaced a brand new SD card that would only record on the record window, as soon as I changed to a different window it would stop recording and every once in a while it would reboot?

I took the sd card out of the unit, reformatted it , put it back in the unit and it worked fine. Still don't understand why it was rebooting my unit.
