Title: 798c SI & 360 Imaging
Post by: dekarate on April 30, 2012, 09:50:39 AM
Saw the announcement for the 360 imaging and it looks great.  I try to paint the same picture in my head by scanning various 'views' but this is so much easier.  It says it need a 798c HD SI unit.  Will it work with the 798c SI?  Didn't think there was much of a difference between the HD and the prior non-HD model.

I think it takes the HD series.  You may want to wait a bit and see how the 360 plays out.  none on the market yet?
Also consider the display data and make sure the 798 screen will be big enough for your data clarity.

You need the Ethernet connection for the 360 to work... So only newer HD units will work.

+1 to what Sil said.
This is an accessory that will communicate to the unit via an Ethernet connection.  So the unit has to have an Ethernet connection on it.
