Title: SI screen 1/2 blacked out

I have a 798 c si that is approximately 2 yrs old. The si mode works well until I reach water that is about 35 feet deep. When I reach this depth 1/2 of the si screen goes dark while the other 1/2 remains. Can anyone explain this? Has anyone else experienced this? Any feed back would be appreciated.

can you check your depth setting.  you might have set it to 35 feet and one side is seeing depth like over 35 feet.

I am taking this problem one side loses display and not the top half vs the bottom half..

You could try posting a Screen Snapshot of what you are seeing as well.  That may be more helpful.
