Hey guys
I recently purchased a QuadraBeam Transducer for my 788ci DI. I tried everything to get to the "transducer select"-tab but I just can't find it. Am I stupid? The system is on the newest software available.
Thanks for your help.

I think the latest release repositioned some of the places where things used to be.
Also look and see ifn youhave advanced mode set to advanced..

You can stop looking – and it isn’t a software mistake.
The DI units (788ci D among them) does not have this menu because there is only one transducer type that works with this transducer: the DI transducer (either the transom, inside-the-hull or trolling motor version).
The 788ci DI unit was never meant to work with the QuadraBeam transducer but the (non-DI) 788ci unit is and has that menu.

I am curious about this one because I am about to purchase it. The HB website lists the 788ci HD as a suitable unit. It is my understanding that you can't use the Y cable but have to use the TS3 switch to switch between them if you plan on still using the DI features. If this is not the case please along the info.

I don’t have time to check the Humminbird web site right now jbrady2852 but was this under the listing for the QuadraBeam transducer?
Laurin got the QuadraBeam use information from the original version of the operations manual which was wrong. It has since been corrected.

It is listed in the unit documentation and on the tranducer spec sheet.

Hate to be a pain about this but I looked for this in both the product pages as well as the different versions of the QuadraBeam transducer and I still cannot find it. Could you post some links for me please?

Greg, you are 100% right. I could have swore that the DI unit was listed on the transducer list. So glad I saw this thread before I purchased the quadrabeam unit.
