Title: Comparisions between the 998c si and the 898c si

Hey guys,

Hope i put this question in the right area. Well, here goes, my boss is looking at buying a Humminbird Si unit for his boat. He asked me the differences between the 898c and the 998c. The two major ones that I have found are the extra diagonal inchof screen size and the improved computers in the 998c. Is this all or is there more?

Any help is appreciated.

The only difference is in the size of the display and nothing else.

The update codes are different (they are for each model) but from an operational standpoint they will both be the same.

And pricing..

You (he) will be happier with the additional 1"...Of course  a 10 inch is real nice.. ;D
