Title: Transducer placement

New to the site. Purchased 898si wanting to put it on a bass tracker pt 185.this boat has a step under the transom where would be the best place to mount the transducer. Thanks for your help.

DGR....many many posts on transducer location in this forum,
Try searching using the tab at the top.
Also go to installation section for pictures.

And as always a set of pictures of your boat rear end is good for us...
