Do I have to install 5.7 before 6.180 or does 6.180 include the 5.7 updates also??
Thank you!!

Hi tsturm,
Just upload the latest 6.180 from the HB website.

Each update has everything in it, so just install the newest
one and you're good.

They mean that if you install the 6.180 software update, that it has all of the updates from the 5.700 software update in it (also the 5.500 update, the 5.410 update, etc.).

OK....If I have installed 5.40 and put in 6.180 then you are saying it will install the 5.40 stuff again and then the 6.180.
Maybe HB should think about sequencing this software and set milestones for updating.
If I already have 5.40 why install it as part of the 6.180..No wonder these files are so large..

This way it keeps someone from having to install two, three, four or more software updates just to get their unit current.

Wow,
I didn't realize that was the way the updates worked.
This means three things:
1) Downloading/saving the update file to your computer will take longer
than the previous one.
2) Each update will take longer to install on your machine than the previous one.
3) The update files will continue to grow in size until they will no longer fit on a small SD card.

Kind of what I was thinking ITG...
And update should be small....and tied to the current level.
If a new level is released then it might be larger. and could be related to being at a certain prior code level.
these units are a computer and we need to treat them as such and if updates are a part of it then the user will have to do that.
We dont let our office and laptops get so far behind they cant be restored or upgraded..
Just part of the new computer age...
Was wondering why some of the new releases are almosrt 30mb.. ::)
