Title: formatting a SDHC

I am wanting to update the firmware on my 898.  Ive been reading that I have to format the SDHC Card First.  My question is what format am I formatting it with? NTFS or FAT?  Do I use the computer to format the card or the 898 to do it?

I do not think you have to reformat your card.  I just erase the last update on my card and then reload the new update, I have been doing this for the past three years. 

If you want to reformat your card, I believe it require Fat32.

Yes go to your HB PC open it up put your card in the PC CLICK on the chip on the screen you will get a opition to
format the chip Fat 32.   Gary
