Title: Attention Chuck - 1197c and the 360 transducer

Chuck,
After thinking about this for a few days, here's what has occured to me:

When you take into consideration, the sheer size of that thing, and
the high price, in the long run, it might be better if it isn't compatible
with our 1197s.
 :)

I'm trying to shed some weight off my boat.  That thing must weigh at least
40 to 50 pounds, maybe even more.

Yea, in one of the videos posted by DD, the aluminum bracket holding it to the transom was substancial! 

PS: While a 360 may not be in my immediate future, some low cost used 1197's this fall, might be!  ;)

Guys thanks,  I dont see the 360 in our future for SAR.  And certainly dont see $5000 to make it happen..
Especially since we already have sector scan that works great..
Myabe it was good not to have a 97 version.....
