Title: Data sync from SD to PC ?

Hi Guys

I am uk based . Im loving 898 . SI has not really made a massive difference to my fishing as yet but Im sure it will have its moment .

The problem I seem to have is downlaoding all the waypoints I have created on the Unit. I take out the SD card put it into the card reader. When I go into - Settings / retrieve from card/ select plooter/ humminbird/matrix/ DATA.HWR

The data .hwr file is a month old and not updated.

Am i missing something ?

One really should read the manual before hitting the internet !

Was you downloading all Navigational data to your SD card before taking it out?  Gary

Routes, tracks, and waypoints are stored on the unit's internal memory...
This data has to manually be put on the SD card...Thru the menu system..

Only snapshots and recordings are automatically put onto the SD card....
