Title: 998 - gps speedometer connection
Post by: Mo.Stuts on January 04, 2012, 11:41:25 PM
i bought my 2011 triton 20xs elite that had lowrance hds equipment and i have since sold those units. i am currently installing my 998 and was wondering if i could reconnect to the speedometer as the previous unit was. the speedo has a green wire labeled gps. was only a singal wire that i disconnected. any help would be appreciated. the gauges are not smartcraft they are beede brand from what i can find.  thanks!

I am not sure on the connection for the beede brand speedometer.  Search the Internet and see if you can find some connection instructions.  There needs to be a GPS ground connection somewhere…
