Do these two interlink with the ethernet or do you have to get the hub or whatever you call it?

You should be good to go with ethernet as long as you have the lastest software update on each one.

The interlink is going away and ethernet is the future.  There is an ethernet hub coming out for 2012 that will allow connecting more than 2 units, bringing in nema 2000, etc....you don't need it for just connecting 2 units.

All you will need is a single cable to connect both of those units up for Ethernet.  The cables come in different lengths so you need to measure and or guestimate the length that you will need.  Keep in mind that the cable may not be able to be routed straight between the two units so allow additional length for that.

Make sure you have the latest software on both units like Bob B said.
