Title: Question on the Minn-Kotta universal sonar 2 adapter

I have a Minn-Kotta with the builtin transduser and  the adaptor kit for the HB 570.  My question is will the HB 570 DI work with the adapter that I have.  Would the HB not show the DI with this kit?

No, the si transducer has to be used to work the side imaging.  I think the units are supposed to work with a u2 transducer and just show regular sonar, but with software issues I've had, I would be chicken to try it.

The answer is “No” because the 570 DI unit needs to be connected to a DI transducer to work correctly without possibly causing internal circuitry damage to the unit.
