More keypad problems...

I took everyone's advice on watching  Doug V videos, which are great!
while fine tuning the SI options I pressed the down arrow and it kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling...
Happened 3 times.

It's only the 2nd time using the 898 after the 1st keypad exchange\repair.

sending back to HB.

Ouch....Man you have a Humminbird black cloud parked over your head... ???....Sorry to hear your having more problems I hope this will be the end of your bad luck...

what can I say....

I thought it was the greatest Fathers Day present I ever got...
what a nightmare...

I requested HB swap my unit out for a new one.

Yeah,...... I don't know....

got my 898 back today.
I asked for a replacement unit, It didn't happen.

the only thing listed as the repair on the packing slip was, "KEYPAD and KEYPAD".

Not so professional in my opinion.
I'll try the 898 on Monday.

I want to use my 898 at the bow, with an extra xducer, power cable, GPS cable, xducer saver,  I'm looking at spending an additional $400.00, maybe it's just me, but that seems a little steep.
