hey everyone, just ordered a new 2012 nitro z7 my question is should i get them to install the transducer on the transom or threw the hull which is the best install for side imaging ??????

Carlg, search this forum for nitro, hull mount, transom mount.  There are a number of issues with getting the transducers to work right as it relates to location. And not just related to Nitro's..
Dont just let your installer (dealer) do anything until you yourself have checked out the issues..

You can also try posting images of your z7’s transom area and we could suggest mounting locations.  Not sure I remember correctly but is there even room on a z7 for a true Thru-Hull transducer except on the bottom of the hull (which I would not suggest doing)?
