Title: Has anyone created .AVI video succesfully?
Post by: dpal on November 19, 2011, 01:17:52 PM
Hello everyone, I cannot seem to get Humviewer to make a playable avi video. None of the players I have downloaded can play it or convert them to say divx. Quicktime works good but avi would suit my needs better. I have spent many hours trying so I am hoping someone here has had some luck. I am running a PC with XP updated OS. I had some trouble with .NET framework during HV install as well where I had to get an older version to even load HV.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I can view Humviewer avi clips with VCL media player, but not with any other player. I have no clue to why it works or not works.

I've made avi vids from humviewer and uploaded them to youtube before.

Thanks, I am trying VLC. I noticed if I make a movie with 1x the speed setting I can't play with VLC but at the default 5x speed it does fine. Im still working on it so that I can play the video on my 55" plasma tv. I can see more detail than on my PC screen.
