Title: Final Connection help

Just completed installation of my 898SI Combo unit - all seems to be good.  Ended up with a Y-cable that I am unsure of its use.  This cable is approx 16" in length - on the single end it reads, "COM" and on the double end, one reads, "ACCY-COM" and the other "NMEA-COM."

Do you have any accessories on the system? If yes, then the Y-cable would split the connection between the accessory and gps puck.
Accessories like weathersense barometer, wireless sonar, etc..

No accessories connected - other than in-box provided GPS.   It appears you have answered my question - thanks!
