My first post, great site, lots of helpful info. I have a 998 and a 958. I know it's a side imaging site but I have a question about the right card slot on the 958. When I have a formatted sd card in the slot and try to export my data i get a message that the export failed. When I put the card in the left slot everything works fine. Also, sometimes when I close the door while a map chip, or sd card is in the right slot it somehow hits the card and ejects it. If I'm real careful it can get the door to close without bumping the card. Anyone else having these issues? Thanks

Lee,
No problem with the non-Si unit questions, especially since the same thing could happen with an Si unit as well. It sounds like something has gone amiss with the right side SD card reader in the unit. You would have to send this in to the Service Department at Humminbird to get it looked at. Call the Humminbird Customer Resource folks at 1-800-633-1468 to set this up.

Thanks Greg I'll do that. I will add that when I put a Lakemaster or Navionics chip in the right side and get it to stay in, it does read the chip(s)ok.
