				went for a fish on weekend witha few friends .
 
 Have been starting to get my 898 really going well, starting to get my head around Side Scan its brilliant.
 
 We were marking huge schools of baitfish.

				Were not sure but I spoke to an old guy who knew where we were fishin & he told me there used to be some sort of Gypsum  mine there, before this area was flooded,....... but I cant find a big enough hole.
 
 I think its some sort of concrete basin of some sort..
 
 Interesting isnt it, now I've got the settings running really good, I cant wait to go back to a lake I know where one of my mates dropped a ral nice rod & reel over the side last year.

				Rod&reel = Stright line with a big round blob on one end. 15 feet of water EZ. :) >:D  Roddy

				And just what type of fish were those? 
 Big ugly things (not the fish, the things holding them up)!  LOL!

				Those are what we call Murray Cod, a freshwater fish caught in inland rivers & dams across south eastern Australia.
 
 Those are really just babies, ...........they grow to 100+lbs  these two are approx 20lb
