Title: Lake screen pictures of SI showing hydrilla plants
Post by: sonar2000 on August 11, 2011, 04:03:14 PM
Does any one have SI screens of hydrillia growing in a lake. I have abut 850 shore line miles to survey..
Would be nice to have a benchmark bewfore I start.
Or do you have hydrilla in your lake and can take some pictures before I start on this journey....

These snapshots are of a steam boat that sank on pickwick lake in the early 1900's. On the sidescan views, the cloud looking objects on the left and right side are hydrilla growing on the sand bar that the boat ran aground on and sank. The downlooking view is what's left of the wheelhouse with heavy hydrilla growing over it. I am not sure this is what you are looking for but it is pickwick lake hydrilla. Hope it helps. Bill.

Bill....thanks....Yep SI is what we want to set a scale on.  We have the survey to do and want to dso a lakeshore scan with si and try to speed up the scan..
Instead of trying to find by DI...
Thanks a bunch and every thing will help....We have not done this before...
