Title: 898 unit will not update

I have the 5.7 update downloaded to a blank Sandisk Extreme 30mg SD card. Have inserted it into my 898 c SI HB unit for update and it is not reading update to install. Have reset HB to defaults and followed all the correct procedures. Any ideas please guys

Hi Robert,

It would not install FROM a blank SD card (Sandisk 8GB Extreme III 30MG ) with only the new 5.7 update so I copied the update onto another SD card (same as the first) with all my HB folders,= Matrix, Record, ProfileTXT and Snapshot...... Inserted SD card into HB and immediately installed with no apparent problems. Powered the unit off removed the SD card . Powered HB back on again restored the defaults, then went about changing to my personal settings in forced simulator mode after another power off/on. There does not appear to be any fault with the first SD card. The whole deal took place "on bench".

You may need to reformat the first card and make sure the unit will recognise it.
