Title: Here We Go Again..Another Download For The 1197/1198 Units...the 5.7
Post by: calli1 on August 04, 2011, 08:14:17 AM: Folks , I appreciate these new downloads of softwares issued by Humminbird but should I now or whould I wait ? I didn't have trouble like some on the 5.5 downloads. Are most of you going to test the download and do it ? Thanks everyone....

I just checked, and the 5.7 update is not yet available for my 1197 on HB's website.
Unless they have something against me and haven't posted to my area. :-[

As for me, I'm going to update the second it's available.
With the 5.5 software on my unit, it's absolutely useless to try and
playback a sonar recording.

My unit is standalone with a big fast sd card.
Records very well, but playback's a b@tch. :)
