I've finally improved my setup with a 2nd battery, the unit is now running isolated from the engine. Additionally i moved the transducer from the transom mount to the middle of the boat, it's now to the left of the hull, and can be moved higher/lower. Due to this location i'm getting refelcted returns on the right side, close to the center line. The "electrical noise" reduced i think, but i'm still not really happy, so i'll go on finding the best setup.
Somehow the pictures are brighter and better in Google Chrome than firefox or iexplorer to me!
Here i've first time managed to get a shot of a fishing net. It's placed on the ground, about 1,5m Height and 150m long. Typically commercial fishing in baltic sea. (http://www.pictureupload.de/originals/pictures/050711123106_BalticImproved01.png)
Here you can see the anchor and chain of an navigation bouy. Due to the bad conditions (4-5 Beauforts, Waves 0,5 - 1m) i was drifting a lot, so the image sadly isnt that clear. (http://www.pictureupload.de/originals/pictures/050711123259_BalticImproved02.png)
These are some strange stones, looks like some weeds or something growing on them. They're placed directly in front of an german navy pier, and the only objects of this size in the harbour. (http://www.pictureupload.de/originals/pictures/050711123559_BalticImproved03.png)
A screen from my first 800khz record, showing the bottom pretty detailed. I actually really like the result so i'll make some more 800khz runs soon! (http://www.pictureupload.de/originals/pictures/050711123834_BalticImproved04.png)
Another fishing net, found it by reviewing the records. The first one was easy to see on my device, but i didnt notice this one before i viewed the records. (http://www.pictureupload.de/originals/pictures/050711124040_BalticImproved05.png)
Please leave me a comment , i really would like to hear some oppinions about the quality of the results !

Actually the pictures look pretty good. You can experiment with some settings like sensitivity and sharpness. Screen scroll and even max depth...
Great and also you can see the difference in the color.

In spite of the reflections on the right side, your images are looking really good to me.
Just curious how you are mounting the transducer on the side of the boat. If you are you able to get it lower you might be able to eliminate the reflections.
