Title: Usefullness of SI in Deep Water
Post by: Pbush001 on July 03, 2011, 06:59:56 PM
I am considering the 998c SI combo but I cruise/fish in deep water (over 100 feet). Does the SI do much for you at that depth?

Pb; I use all my HB units (570di,797si,947con, 987di/si and 1198di/si) in 1' to 300' with no problem. Sea of 6' inshore can blur si/di screen shots (pix) that not the unit but the sea.

You will love it!!!  :)       Roddy

When I get into water over 100 ft I have to crank the sensativity way up to get a decent picture.
