Title: 898SI Memory Card

I have a the first generation 898 SI and I need to update the software. I am looking to buy a memory card to both update the software and to store snapshots.  My question is what card should I buy. I also purchased the Navionics Platinum card that will be used in the unit. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Brett; 1. I use a 4 gb card.
              2. After downloading and installation delete the up date on the card. If this is not done each time the card is installed the unit may :try to update again.  :) Roddy

I use a 4 GB SanDisk SDHC, you will also need a USB High Speed Memory Card Reader/Writer  to plug into your computer to download and upload data.  When recording data I keep my data collection to 15 to 30 minutes max, then stop and restart the recordings.  Found that long recording are difficult to sort through to find what you want.
