Title: GPS waypoints
Post by: edwardpic on May 12, 2011, 12:56:29 PM
I see you can export to SD all of your stored GPS numbers.

My question(s) are if I export all my saved numbers to SD card
1- can I upload them to Humminbird PC as a back-up?
2-can I upload them using the SD slot to a second unit so both units have the numbers saved on each?

1 - Yes (I recommend frequent HumminbirdPC back ups).
2 - Yes.

First time using the export to SD and first time backing them up to HPC...Worked good, now just to see if uploading the waypoints to the second head so all the numbers match will go good...Not sure if the second head will automatically recognize the SD and transfer them....

Yes again.
The second unit will automatically recognize the new waypoins and show you how many it loaded.
