Title: Excellent Customer service

I noticed Universalmania.com is listed as a reseller of Humminbird products on this site.
Forgive me if this is not the proper forum to enlighten but....
Well, I bought my 998C SI from them middle of March.
No damage to the shipping box so I took it out of the box and left it aside until Friday night.
Went to a buddy's house to install on my boat in his rather large garage and when I took it out of the box the display was already cracked.
Needless to say i was fuming.

I left a message on their after hours chat and sent an email to their support, off course they are closed on the weekend but had to do something.

Well by 9:30 that night I already had a reply from the Director of Sales apologising for the damaged item.  He stated he had to go into work the next day and would overnight one to me.
And, that is just what he did.
I received an email from him Saturday morning with his phone number listed so I called him.
He was right on with customer service, I received the new unit Monday afternoon and had it installed with in a couple hours.

I believe when a retailer goes out of their way to satisfy their customer they deserve to be recognized

Now that's the way to build a business.  You can't buy advertisements like that.  Thanks very much for the report.
