Can someone tell me the difference between 455 vs 800 khz and when to use it?
Thanks,

I can show you a difference. The two snapshots are both of a fishing rod and reel i took tuesday. The 800 has substantial more detail of the rod than the 455 does. You can barely make out the rod in the 455 mode. Robert says the 800 has about 20 feet side view limitations where the 455 doesn't. From my limited experience the 800 view is for very close side scan views in greater detail. The 455 is for wide side scan viewing. The 800 view is the top snapshot, the 455 is the bottom.
