Title: 898c vs. 998

What are the differences. From what I can tell its screen size? Is there that much difference to cowboy-up the extra $$$$$. Just trying to decide which unit to get since Im saving for one or the other.

997 is the predecessor to the 998.997's have been discontinued.

well, what I meant was is there that much difference in the 998SI and 898 SI other than just screen size. Since I'm saving anyway, if it would do better than 898, I would just maybe wait till I could purchase 998.

I  have an 898cx SI  and love it but I wish I had bought the biggest screen available  the 1198. If the 898 is what you can afford go for it. They are a GREAT unit.

i have the 898 and 1198....they both are pretty much the same other then screen size. I have to tell you when they are next to each other WOW the 1198 looks huge. I have had no problems with the 898 and love it. Like was said get what you can afford or save up a little more and go with the 998, cant go wrong with a bigger screen

Display size and cost are the only differences between the 898c Si and 998c Si units.
