Title: Sharing sonar views between units
Post by: Fishfinger on March 15, 2011, 05:45:59 AM
I am planning on installing a 898c si with an additional dual beam/high speed transducer. Can I link a second unit to the 898 and have it display the signal from the added dual beam transducer? If my second unit is a si unit would it display the si signal from the 898 as well? I seem to be having a hard time getting this answer and would appreciate any input. Thank you.

I think if both units are Ethernet capable, and they get the Ethernet updates the answer will be yes,but maybe someone else knows for sure. you wont be able to see both sources at once, but one at a .

You can download the Ethernet manual here.

Appreciate your input and the link. I read some of the manual and I still am not sure what the answer is.
