Post by: whlsup on March 12, 2011, 11:16:30 PM
I have two units, a 987 on the bow very clear images and no problems, connected to the 997 console unit via interlink, both units are on 4.995 to correct interlink problems. the console unit has unclear images. the engine off, and varied the settings even did a restore. still the same. any ideas?[attachment=1][attachment=2]

Whlsup I would change the heads around and see what happens it might be a transducer since you
have your motor off. I would make sure everything in the boat is off except the unit in question
I would run a dedicated power supply wire straight to the starting battery.  Gary

Well first off that green is a horrible color for SI! ;D

Looks like you may have some interference going on.

I have tried to swap the heads between front and back, the white specs follow the 997 even when changing the color to Blue. The white specs track along with the graph.

Unhook your interlink just run the 997 buy itself. Interference should go away. Gary
