Title: 1197C New Update 5.430 - problem Down Imaging

Installed 5.430 update.
Problem Down Imaging: screen freezes and flash

Defect occurs in MODE SIMULATOR
Down Sensitivity AUTO
Screen 100% Down Imaging

Has anyone else who has installed the update had this issue? My 1197cx SI (manufactured in 2010/09/10).

Version 5.320 same defect.
Version 4.950 and it works perfectly Down Imaging.

Humminbird Engineering is looking into this.  For now use manual settings until they can come out with a fix for this.

Does humminbird write the code or is this outsourced..???

I downloaded 5.430 on both of my 1197's and I had no issue, maybe you can reload the update and then re-install?

I restored default, reinstalled version 4.950, restored default, reload the update 5.430, restored default......... problem continues (Down Imaging: screen freezes and flash, Screen 100% Down Imaging).

Discover that sometimes the defect also occurs in normal mode and with any sensitivity setting.

I returned to version 4.950 and it works perfectly Down Imaging.
I will wait for new update out or sell my 1197c.

To eliminate this problem we would suggest to take the DI sensitivity off of Auto and manually adjust it.
