Title: please help im new!!

Hi im new to the forums and side imaging. Ive been having trouble trying to find a tutorial on opening a recorded video in a program and marking waypoints. I know how to open the videos and convert them but, I haven't seen anything on marking waypoints on the computer and putting them back on the unit. Someone please help! I was also wondering if it is possible to rig my 798 with my laptop so i can display what it is viewing on my computer.

Welcome to the forum.  Sorry I didnt get to answer this quicker.

It is not possible to hook the laptop to you 798.  You will need to record to an SD card and then play it back on the computer using programs like HumViewer or YellowFin.

Please check in the Software section of the forum.  HumViewer has a very good tutorial.
