Title: HumMapper 2.0 application is ready for download.

Hello,

HumMapper 2.0 has been released at www.scubabase.eu (http://www.scubabase.eu).

Installation instructions:
It comes in two compressed files: a zip version and a 7z version. They are both identical. Download the one you prefer.
Create a new directory/folder (for example C:\HumMapper2.0\) and decompress the file into this directory. Do not use C:\Program Files\. Windows Vista and probably higher has a very protective behaviour when third party software is writing into that directory/folder. For Windows Vista when HumMapper 2.0 is installed in C:\Program Files\ it will not be able to write into the database.

Documentation and tutorials:
You can download the manual. The HumMapper 2.0 Manual gives you a pretty good idea of what HumMapper is all about. Additionally there are some Flash tutorials that show some of the functionality of HumMapper 2.0: for example how to perform the direct download from a 1197c SI or how to download dive profiles from a dive computer/device (SENSUS Pro).

You can do some experiments with HumMapper 2.0. Finally you can always start from scratch by downloading a new empty database. Also a test GPX-file is available for download.

There is no support on HumMapper. However if you notify me on specific problems or errors I will try to act on them accordingly with a corrective action. When reporting errors a screen print and a history (what did you do before the error occured) is most helpfull.
