Title: Humminbird PC error handeling Depth.
Post by: Trytoofish on March 04, 2011, 08:30:35 AM
There appears to be a error in the way Humminbird PC handles the depth component of a Waypoint. I export a Waypoint file from Humminbird pc into Fugawi to view on some maps. The depth is there. then I export back to Humminbird pc, the depth is gone. At first I thought Fugawi was loosing the depth,But when I open the same file in EZgps the depth is still there.
Has this been reported before,Are the programmers looking at it?
Thanks

I have not heard if this before and I don’t know if they will look into it since it involves another company’s product.

I will send in it though.

Thank you  Greg.  I do hope they check into it. on the surface it appears to be a problem with PC,bit I dont know for sure. While there are non humminbird products involved, I would still expect Humminbird pc to import the data it created, after all the data is humminbirds data.
Just because a Ford drives through a Chevy garage, don't make it a Chevy. LOL
Thanks again.
