Title: Wrong data uploaded to sd card

When I open the card in Humminbird Pc it says I have a 858 c si not a 898c. Not sure whats going on here. The unit puts that info on the card, right?

do you own a 858? You can delete a file on the card titled profile. that may help.

I don't own a 858. I put a new card in the 898 and then opened it in the Humminbird Pc. It shows the correct software, but the wrong unit.

I had the same on my 898c and Humminbird cust. said that Humminbird PC would still work so I guess live with it

Mine says 858cSI and the wrong serial number on Humminbird PC .

Must be a software issue. I would think they would be able to fix it.

Humminbird PC will still work.  It is a software issue with the serial numbers.  Mine did this a few versions back as well.

Really nothing to worry about, just annoying!
