Post by: Kees Michielsen on January 28, 2011, 11:58:55 AM
Yesterday I got my 998C Si,
Today, on the Humminbird.com page I downloaded Humminbid PC version 3.2.0
When I installed it than it says it is version 3.0.26 / 2008-12-12
Anybody else with he same problem?
I there a solution?

When you start up Humminbird PC a splash screen comes up and has the version number on it also.  See if it is correct.  If not, you are probably installing an older version for some reason.

Make sure you unistalled Humminbird PC in the Control Panel.  You may also want to check in the Program Files folder on the C: drive and see if the contents of the Johnson Outdoors folder was completely deleted.

If you are using Windows 7 it may be in the Program Files(x86) folder.

I think it is  bug....
I cleaned everything, reinstalled it and again in the program help - about it shows 3.0.26 as in the screencapure above.
When I look into the config on the laptop it shows version 3.2.0
The program works great, also with Google Earth.
I just leave it like it is

Thank you  ;D
