Title: Dual Transducers
Post by: Kennyscott on January 24, 2011, 09:54:54 AM
Is it possible to run two tansducers from one fish finder. One at a time ..example, one connected to the transom then another on a pull behind towfish.  My thought is to use the transom mount tranducer to spot something of interest then swing around with the towfish to get a closer more detailed look. I know I could plug and unplug the wires, but is there a switch that could be used to change from one to the other. I saw the switches on on the site but says they are for using one transducer to change between two fish finders.

There is a US2W and a TS2W.  The TSW2 is a transducer switch that will do exactly what you are looking for!

Good Luck,

Hi Kenny,
like Robert adviced, I have the same set up with the transducer switch.
It works perfect when I have the fish deployed.
I heard that there will be a new switch be coming out. Don't know what this is all about. Maybe a different design with a stronger spring. Mine seems a bit limp.

Best wishes / Harry

I think that would be a great feature to have added to the upper end fish finders. Push buton...In for transducer "A" out for "B".
