Title: Interlink Problem

I have a 997c SI at the console and a 858c at the bow with the Interlink. It used to work fine sharing waypoints, but now I'm having a problem. I select fully participate in network and I get a message saying synchronization in progress. It takes a long time and then the bow unit will say participation canceled without me touching anything and none of the waypoints from the console unit to the bow unit will get updated. The accessories page says the interlink is connected. I have it connected to the interlink as suggested. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.  Have you updated any of the software on either of the units lately?  Are you keeping the data on the unit or on the interlink?

Give Humminbird Customer Resources a call. They may have some special software to load on the units that will correct the issue.

I have the same setup of 997 and 858 in my boat. Everything worked until I updated software on the 858. I'm waiting on the return of my reprogrammed Interlink from Humminbird. I hope the reprogrammed Interlink and the special software will correct my issues.

A new Interlink module and the special software from Humminbird corrected my issues and everything is working now.
