Reference the topic "new Problem":
Sharing your home location is somewhat of a privacy issue with some people and I can understand the need to protect that concern.
However we should look at this forum as a helping hand and informatin sharing to assist those who are new or experiencing unresolved problems.
I posted before to the SAR members to add location to their profile so that when assistance was needed in a pending search we could find our closest member who might be able to help. I extended that in general to all members because some search assistance could be performed by any sonar user and make the recordings for the management team to view specifically.
As with Terry's need and several other users over the year, we could all benefit with a neighbors help, if we knew who that neighbor was. Being able to swap components may make the isolation of problem shorter. And save time sending the whole unit back to HB for problem determination. Especially if the problem is intermittent.
So I again ask members to check their profile and offer their location or map placement.
Thanks to all for the help you show to others in need on this forum

Adding to my initial post.
There are two options to indicate your location.
One is the map pin placement and the other is the profile entry location.
Some have choosen to put their unit type in the location field. Reminder that that is already a selection in your profile.
Share with us that which you are comfortable with.

Thanks

As for location a "ZIP" code I think would be good enough
to find HELP for any type of problems we might encounter.
Unit problems or help with search as you indicated.
Also I hope that I met and made a new friend today

Terry, that is a good idea to put Zip in the location. For privacy purposes that is less intrusive and more geographical but will be great for help needs.
Thanks for the suggestion and the contribution to the forum.
