First, thanks as always for your attention and insight. It means a bunch to many of us!
As for the new 998, with there ABSOLUTELY be an offering of an NVB nav bundle with the 998? Need to know, because if not, I need to get a 997 NVB while they last.

The 998c Si NVB units are already in stores, or at least I found listings for them. I checked the part number and it came up as valid and also that we have only a few in our factory inventory at the moment (no doubt to be shipped out to a store) so I don't know why you would not be able to get one.

ElvisMarcy, just a sidenote, but I hope you do realize the NVB bundle maps are 2006 versions...
You might want to consider getting a unit without the NVB bundle and then just buy the 2010 Platinum or Premium Navionics map for your home lakes....
