have a Ipilot on mine with a 797.  One thing to watch for if you put it on the TM.  In anchor mode the trolling motor and keep spinning more than 360 degrees.  There is nothing in the program to stop it from cutting the cable.  I have a 998 si in back and a 797 in front.  Just  watch it.  Hope it helps.  Something to think about.  I crappie fish and spider fish it is great but bass fishing the remote is a pain when trying to fish also.  the terria (spelling) you can use the foot pedal and remote. the cheeper models like mine is remote only.

The powerdrive minn kota 70 has the foot pedal and ipolit. So I should be good.  Why would you use the anchor mode and have a anchor line out at the same time?
I also am going to need a trolling motor mount for a quadra beam transducer.  I have a 788 humminbird on my boat now that I am going to put on the front of the boat and mount it to the trolling motor.
