I had a problem removing the SD card because my fingers don't fit.
I drilled a .030" hole 1/8" down from the top of the SD card and tied a short piece of fishing line in the hole works great.

Good idea i have the same problems fat fingers. Gary :)

Just remember, the SD card slot has a push in - pop out inser/eject mechanism. Do not yank the card out with the pull string while the eject mechanism is engaged.

IS THERE A SPECIAL TYPE OF SD CARD REQUIRED
THANKS
-
No, but a class 6 or 10 will lessen the time it takes to do snapshots.
You can use up to a 32 gb card. I use a 2 gb or 4 gb .
-
THANKS . Only had it a couple of days and it came with very little instructions

Although not required we do recommend using the SanDisk brand SD and SDHC memory cards. They make the Ultra II and Extreme III (fast and faster) models of SDHC memory cards that work well in our products.

I keep several 2GB Sandisk Extreme III cards in the boat ....
1 with the latest software version
1 with the previous software version
1 with saved snapshots and recordings
1 with all my backed up waypoints
1 for the day at hand info
SD cards are cheap...

Thanks for the info. A good idea to keep them all separate
