Title: Transducer adjustment lesson learned

I have a 17ft aluminum Starcraft, basically the same set up as a Tracker but has 2 livewells. I realized that when I have 2 or more people in the boat I have to lower the transducer figured this out this weekend when I lost the bottom once I hit about 17 MPH. I just updated the software so my initial thoughts were it was the software but once I lowered the transducer a little no issues and I got fish arches again not lines.

When your transducer is lower in the water you will need to be more careful. Some have broken off after being struck by something in the water, even extra rough water will break the mounts also.

I have a tracker and my ducer is lower also. But I also run the HD transducer. I have not had a problem with it being lower and do get fairly good returns at 40MPH
