Last week i made a record file with my HB 898. When i wanted to look at the record with HumViewer i noticed, that my pictures had a bad resolution.
They donīt look so good like the HumViewer pictures in the forum. http://sideimagingsoft.com/forums/Smileys/classic/sad.gif (http://sideimagingsoft.com/forums/Smileys/classic/sad.gif)
I made the record with 800kHZ. Any ideas?

800 is for shallow depths and beter imaging. However on the external viewer such as humview you will get some washout. 455 will give a clearer picture.
You might try setting changes on both the unit and the viewer program. (contrast, brightness)

Also that green color pallette looks washed out. You need a good contrasting color pallette. Like the Brown/Yellow or make your own.

Thanks for the replies.
I will try other color palettes for a better result.

What water temperature was at record?
What transparency?
If water blossomed or was strongly muddy on 800 quality of a picture can fall.

The water temperature was 17 degrees.
Transparency at 10, and the ground a little bit muddy.
I made a new snapshot with the HumViever in SI brown, brightness at 1,4 and contrast at 1,1. I think it looks better than before. The next record i will make in 455 kHz for a better result.
