Title: Do You Like Your Raptor Cap ?
Post by: calli1 on July 07, 2010, 09:20:49 PM
For those of you who own a Raptor Cap for your electronics, does it make that much of a difference ?

Also, on the Humminbird units or any other for that...how does the protective lens cover fit with the Raptor Cap on the unit.

Can the Raptor Cap be removed and installed when you like or is it on there to stay.....?

The Raptor Cap does a very nice job and is removeable.  You have to apply the velcro tape to the perimeter of the unit and the Raptor Cap just attaches to it.

I will try to post some pictures in a bit.

Yes, it shades the screen and makes viewing easier.
The 1/2 velcro tape doesn't interfere with the use of the factory screen cover. Actually it makes removing it easier.
You have to remove the Raptor Cap to use the screen cover.

I posted some pictures of it on an earlier thread.
