So my unit finally arrived last week (long back order) and I have it installed and updated the software to the latest....one thing that I have seen in different demo videos etc, is where it appears that some units, and maybe this only applies to 998 and 1197 but it appears that on the side imaging screen they have the ability to move the readouts to the bottom of the screen instead of the side...I would like to do this but for the life of me can't figure out how to do it.....

Update:
I called Humminbird and asked the question and it appears that currently with the 898 s/w you are unable to move the readouts to the bottom. I also asked them about turning them off, that while you could turn them off it didn't expand the side image screen to feel in the space, however if using the downimaging or 2d sonar it allows you to use the full width of the screen....Hopefully they will include this capability with a future software upgrade.......
