Title: HumViewer Question....
Post by: calli1 on May 15, 2010, 09:19:15 AM
Ok Folks...my HumViewer is downloaded on my laptop.  Now what.

I only have a few pics so far that I haved taken with my 898.  No videos yet.

I need to know what to do.  How to do and what is the purpose of the Humviewer.

Just a little help requested for the HumViewer.

Also, what is the cheapest route you can go on the S D cards for some type of recording?

Thanks

Walmart would probably be the most convenient if not one of the cheapest.

Humviewer is an external viewing program for recordings. You must have an sd card in the unit to make a recording.
cheap sd card might not be the best way to go.  I would look for at least a 2gig card.  you can go on from there.

Snapshots are saved in .ping format so any picture viewer will open them.

I just let my Windows default picture viewer open them.

Once you have the .ping files on your pc, double click on the .ping file and it should open. If it doesn't open, right click on the .ping file and choose "Open With"...then choose "Paint" or "Windows Photo Gallery"
