Why would I want to have Color Bar turned on ? Thanks
-
It shows the color scale and strength of a return. The higher up in the color bar, the stronger the return.
This can be useful in determining bottom hardness, etc.
Hope that helps,
Robert

Thanks Robert, but, but, lol, isn't red at the top all the time anyway and isn't that Color Bar staying the same all the time also. Do I not see the strength of the Return in the return itself ? Are you saying I am to use the Color Bar as a Reference or something ? Thanks, Sam...

There are different color palletes you can use. If you are familiar with the default enough, I would say turn it off.
Yes red is at top on the default pallete, but what color is after red, and what color is after that?
Its just a reference for strength of return! Personally, I always find it handy to have on when looking at bottom hardness or bigger fish returns.
Good Luck,
Robert
