Not completely sure, but I think the river monster guy was using a Humminbird SI on his show last night. Anyone else see that? :o

I must have missed it! I watched several episodes but didn't see a HB! Which episode? The one on the giant fresh water stingray?

Yes the Stingray episode. It was toward the end of the show when he was in a canoe type boat. He held the transducer in the water with an extension pole. :D

I will have to pay closer attention! I was probably multitasking at the time, flipping thru the forum and watching TV at the same time! ::)
I remember him holding something on the entension pole but didn't see the HB Unit!
I see them on a lot of shows lately. There was one on the History Channel where they were looking in the Bermuda Triangle for Flight 19 (5 Avengers that went down), one on the search for Atlantis, and one where they were talking about Aliens underwater or something! Maybe that was in the Bermuda Triangle also! ;D
There is also some footage of one particular 997c out there on the Tybee Bomb! ::) ::) ::) Don't know when that will come out though!

it was a humminbird on the stinray episode. If you goto the web site and watch the video under the snakehead fish episode. It is called "scared carp". it is on those carp that like to jump out of the water and he is using a humminbird. looks like an 1197. he shows the sonar with the fish id on and you can see humminbird on the top of the unit
